This was a project for my Music History class. We had to make a collage on a note book cover that represented our taste in music. Along with that, we had to write a brief explanation on the cover, and present it to the class with an accompanying song.
ReflectionThe 21st century skill that I feel best represents this project is the self-directional skill. All of the information that I used for this project I knew before hand, as it was just about my music taste. The due date was very loose, and the guide lines weren't super clear, but I was still able to get full points. That's probably on account of the fact that I actually care about music, and was excited to talk about it to my class and teacher.
I'm proud of this project because I actually like the final product. It's kind of messy, sure, but that's kind of the point. I was trying to emulate my music taste on the cover, and my music taste is very eclectic and random. I'm also proud of the presentation I did on it. I was able to get a lot of the information out without many pauses and such. This happened with absolutely no rehearsal or planning for the presentation, so all's well that ends well I guess. If I could do this project again, I would probably just try and find a way to keep the journal cover together a little better. As you can see in the picture, some pieces of collage are already coming off. I would just try and find of avoiding that. |
