ReflectionThe 21st century skill that I believe best represents this project is the thinking & problem solving skill. The first month of my junior year was dedicated to brainstorming what my junior project was going to be, and figuring out how to execute it. Then, as time went on, I had to work out how to fill all requirements for the junior project within my project. Then, it was a matter of creating my zine, and going through all the information I wanted to include. How was I going to incorporate it all in a way that made sense? How was I going to the zines printed? How was I even supposed to make a zine? There were just some of the questions I had to ask myself in creating my zine.
I'm proud of this project for a number of reasons. Mostly, I am proud of the fact that I was able to get it done. Junior projects seemed daunting at first, and it certainly lived up to that. I was rather busy all semester, with both school, and my personal life. In the end, I was able to achieve my vision of creating a zine, and it was able to help people lean about Dungeons & Dragons, which is a game I love. Over all I think I did something worth while for my junior project, and I'm proud of what I created. If I could do this project again, I would have managed my time better. I could have made the zine better, and stressed about if less if I were to have done it more through out the semester, rather than cramming in most of the project in the last month. Was I able to get it done in a way that I was happy with? Yes, but it would have been far easier if I took more time to do it. |
